About Our Group

Founded by local men who wanted to ensure no one faces a prostate cancer diagnosis alone. Community-led, volunteer-run, and completely free.

Why We Were Created

When several local men received prostate cancer diagnoses within a short period, they quickly discovered how isolating the experience could be. Medical appointments, treatment decisions, and the emotional weight of living with cancer can feel overwhelming and their families were often struggling too.

What those men found most helpful was not just medical information, but the simple act of talking honestly with others who truly understood. From those early conversations, Grantham Prostate Cancer Support Group was born.
